Things decorators ask
Do I need to install anything?
No. Open New Hue in your phone's browser and add it to your home screen. It works like an app on iPhone and Android.
Do I need accounts software?
No. New Hue does quotes, deposits and invoices itself and gives your accountant a spreadsheet. If you use Xero, QuickBooks or Sage, it connects in a couple of taps.
Can I use my own prices?
Yes. You set your rates, paints and materials, and New Hue learns how far your paint really goes.
What does my client see?
A private page with their quote, colours and progress. They can accept the quote, approve extras and report snags, and they pay the deposit by bank transfer.
Is it just for painting?
It's made for painters and decorators, including wallpaper, woodwork, windows, staircases and panelling.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Pick a plan to carry on. If you don't, your account goes read-only: you can still open your jobs and download everything.
Where is my data kept?
On secure servers in the EU (Frankfurt). Your business has its own private space that no other customer can see.
